The CUSD School board met last night to hear public input as it prepares to make large cuts in its budget. It will meet again in March to decide on which cuts to make.
Turnout was large, forcing the board to adjourn the meeting in their conference room and move it to the auditorium of next door Hatch Elementary. The crowd, many wearing blue shirts which seemed to signify union membership, was made up almost entirely of district employees. Only one of the many speaker
s was a non-employee parent.
Montara Fog is providing this video in the hopes that a broader public will offer their advice to the school board on the budget crisis before or at the next meeting.
