RE: Two Vacancies for Measure E Parcel Tax Citizens’ Oversight Committee
The Cabrillo Unified School District Board of Education is calling for candidates to fill two vacancies on the Citizens’ Measure E Oversight Committee. The application deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012. One vacancy represents the Cabrillo Unified Teachers’ Association and the second vacancy is an at-large representative.
The purpose of the Oversight Committee is to inform the public at least annually in a written report whether the tax dollars that are generated by the parcel tax measure (Measure E) approved by Coastside voters on June 8, 2010 are being expended in a manner consistent with the ballot language.
The application form and bylaws are now available on the District website (www.cabrillo.k12.ca.us/) and at the District Office, 498 Kelly Avenue. Applications should be hand-delivered or mailed to:
